Rupal Chhaya

Rupal Chhaya is presently pursuing her 5th year of BBA LLB from Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad. She is a member of Center for Human Rights under the aegis of SLS-H and has worked in various research collaborations. She had undertaken an empirical study of the Nilgiri Tribes (under Tribal Research Centre, Tamil Nadu) and on the Rohingya Refugees situated in Hyderabad in collaboration with Edinburgh University, USA. Working as a Head and member of the research team at the Centre for Human Right, she has contributed tirelessly towards the publication of 3 books on varied Human Rights aspects. Recently, she has been awarded the Sustainable Development Leader Award by KPR Foundation. She is continuously being awarded in her mooting and administrative skills being a member of student council and several other student academic bodies. She has a strong inclination towards corporate laws and has pursued her interest by way of internships at various law firms and publications in this field. She has specialised in IPR and Competition law and worked on some emerging topics in these domains.
